PSV’s Bergwijn: “We Want To Win Against Inter”

PSV Eindhoven may well be already eliminated from the Champions League but winger Steven Bergwijn has warned Inter that he and his teammates will be out to win their final group stage game.

“We are not just going for a trip to Milan. We want to win and finish the group stage in the best way possible. We have played better teams than ourselves in the group but I do not feel like we have been hopeless. This is a positive sign but at the same time it is also very frustrating to have only picked up one point,” the Dutch youngster said in an interview with de Telegraaf.

The 21-year-old has made 21 appearances this season for the Dutch giants across all competitions, scoring eight goals and assisting seven goals. Such form has lead to interest from several European clubs and Inter have been mentioned as a possibly interested team in recent months.
