Inter’s Dutch international central defender Stefan de Vrij stopped by Inter TV to share his thoughts on tonight’s penultimate Serie A match of the 2018 calendar year when the Nerazzurri host Napoli at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
The Dutchman as asked how Inter will approach the match to which he replied: “We are most definitely motivated after having conceded the draw against Chievo in the final minutes. We all have a great will and desire to to play this match and to win it, as it is an important match for the league standings.”
The former Lazio man was asked how the preparation ahead of playing matches during the holidays has changed in comparison with the rest of the season to which he replied: “I always do everything in this manner, last year we also played a Coppa Italia match during this period. I repeat, it is an important match, we needed to prepare for it well.”
In conclusion de Vrij was asked about Napoli’s attacking threats to which he replied: “For us things don’t change that much if either Milik or Mertens play, it will be a great challenge for us either way.”
