Milan mayor Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Sala has backed Inter’s decision to not appeal their stadium closure and their decision to request permission to allow children from their academy in to the stadium in the affected games through social media.
“I totally agree with this proposal from the Inter. I hope that FIGC and Serie A take this as a great opportunity for football and for Milan,” he tweeted.
