After another tough defeat at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, this time against Bologna, Inter coach Luciano Spalletti gave his thoughts on the match to Inter TV.
Having a whole week to prepare for the Parma game, does that give you some confidence?
“For sure, this gives you the opportunity to go deeper in order to find what is wrong and to find what needs to be done. It is easier to get the work done during an entire week instead of when you only have three days to prepare.”
You talked about grit, how much of that did you see today?
“Everything is kind of evaluated depending on the episodes, if the first one puts you ahead everything gets easier. Should we have scored the first goal against Bologna when we had the chance, it would have been a totally different ball game. Missing out on those first chances made us becoming afraid of taking any chances. After that everything just went south.”
