In the next three days, Mauro Icardi’s physiotherapy on his knee will come to an end after three weeks according to a report from Tuttosport.
Despite this, the feeling is that the 26-year-old wishes to remain out of action even though Inter’s tests showed that there was nothing wrong with his knee.
The report goes on to state that any day now could be a good day for the club and Icardi to sit down and discuss what will happen next but Inter’s hands are effectively tied because they can do little else if he continues to sit out and tries to prolong the physiotherapy period.
The longer he sits out, the further he puts his Inter future at risk as well as his participation in this Summer’s Copa America with Argentina.
This season Icardi has made 28 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored 15 goals and tallied 3 assists.
