Icardi & Inter Could Meet Again Next Week As Solution To Saga Continues To Be Sought

Mauro Icardi and his wife/agent Wanda Icardi could meet with Inter again as early as next week following yesterday’s meeting with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Yesterday the club announced that a ‘cordial’ meeting had taken place “in search of a solution to satisfy the best interests of all involved.”

Club president Steven Zhang could be present at the next meeting with all the parties still looking to find a solution to what has been a long winded saga.

The report goes on to stress that at no point during this saga have Inter asked Mauro to remove Wanda as his agent nor as he thought about doing it and therefore she will continue to be his agent until further notice.

She has recently been receiving advice from former Inter owner and president Massimo Moratti, who has spoken to them in private while also making his feelings known about the whole ordeal in public too.

This is something that the Argentine couple have very much appreciated in this tough time where they have been disappointed with the attitudes shown by some people at the club.

The captain’s armband was initially seen as the main focal point of this saga but FCInterNews.it say that this has now been pushed into the background and no longer the focal point.
