Inter Defender de Vrij: “We Reacted Great As A Team, We Won & It’s A Great Feeling”

Stefan de Vrij has shared his delight after Inter’s 3-2 Milan derby win tonight at San Siro in which he scored the Nerazzurri’s second goal of the game.

“We reacted great as a team. We fought and played very well in the first half by coming out and creating chances,” he told Italian broadcaster Sky Sport post-match.

“In the second half we fell off too much but we won and it is a great feeling.”

He concluded: “Today we had to defend the lead whereas on Thursday we had to recover it, it was a different scenario. We did better today as we are more united and more of a team. That is important.”
