Milan Skriniar has shared his delight following Inter’s 3-2 Derby Della Madonnina triumph over city rivals Milan on Sunday night at San Siro.
“It was a good game, especially in the first half where we were excellent. We are happy to have won this great derby after the previous matches that were not perfect,” he remarked in an interview with Slovakian news outlet Pravda upon arriving for national team duty.
The centre back then shared his disappointment about Inter’s elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night
“Obviously we wanted to go as far as possible in the Europa League and we regret not having succeeded. This is why it was very important for us to overtake Milan.
He concluded the interview with a few words for the Inter faithful: “We put what happened before behind us and we are very happy for our fans.”
