Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti spoke briefly with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport ahead of this weekends match against Lazio at San Siro, a match that is absolutely crucial in the race for Champions League qualification.
“There are ten games left until the end of the season and on Sunday we face a challenging match with Lazio. Spalletti is preparing for the game in the best way possible,” he said.
The Argentine was then asked if there had been any further developments to the recent Mauro Icardi drama following his return to full training at the beginning of the week.
“The situation with him has been resolved. I think the most important thing now is for us to think about reaching our Champions League qualification goal which is fundamental for the club.
Zanetti concluded: “Icardi has been talked about so much now we await the facts. We need those. I believe we must all be concentrated.”
