Inter Manager Spalletti: “Tomorrow We Face A Genoa Side Regenerated By Prandelli”

Ahead of tomorrow night’s match away to Genoa, Inter manager Luciano Spalletti previewed the fixture in an interview with Inter’s in-house television channel Inter TV.

Firstly he spoke on what he and the Inter team can learn from their loss to Lazio on Sunday night.

“Defeats create the prerequisites for growth, you pay more attention and perform a deeper analysis. Even if bitterness remains, it gives you the possibility to study the details and get back to work,” he began.

Spalletti then went on to discuss what he expects from the team in tomorrow’s encounter at the traditionally difficult Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

“We cannot tiptoe around the game and as far as our technical ability goes, it is sufficient enough to attempt to win in this game but on the other side their is a team regenerated by Prandelli.”

Asked about the team’s condition he responded: “We are better. We have recovered players and we have different possibilities that make us more complete. The injuries to de Vrij and Lautaro? It is difficult as replacing the two of them is not easy and they will still be out for other games to come.

“All those who have not played against Lazio have trained well and rightly have pretensions, we must be careful about the messages of the players on the pitch and keep in mind those who are doing well.”
