Inter’s owners Suning want to build the team around Milan Skriniar and consider him absolutely indispensable according to a report from Tuttosport.
The Slovakian defender’s renewal until the end of the 2022/23 season is as good as a done deal and as per the report, Inter’s Chinese owners believe that Skriniar has everything that it takes to captain the club.
Manchester City among others have shown a strong interest in signing him lately and even though they could offer €80 million, Suning have no interest in giving him up.
This season he has further asserted himself as one of the best central defenders not only in Italy but on the planet as he has formed a formidable partnership with Stefan de Vrij as evidenced by the large number of clean sheets that Inter have achieved.
The 24-year-old has put together 39 appearances across all competitions this term in which he has managed to provide one assist.
