Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio is in contact with Racing Club over a possible move for Renzo Saravia according to a report from Argentine radio station Radio Continental.
The 25-year-old right back has a €15 million release clause in his current contract which runs until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Saravia only joined Racing last Summer but has clearly impressed Ausilio with his performances this term. So far this season he has made 22 appearances although he is yet to score or assist.
The Nerazzurri previously did business with the Argentine club over Lautaro Martinez and this could help Inter this time round as could the fact Inter legend Diego Milito is also part of the Racing Club management.
The report goes on to state that Spanish club Atletico Madrid have also taken an interest in signing Saravia, who is a full Argentine international and has three caps to his name to date.
