Alessandro Bastoni has refused to look too far ahead into the future and insists his main focus at the moment is helping Parma avoid the drop.
“My goals at the moment are to reach safety with Parma and play well in the European Championship with the Italy Under 21 national team. It is too early to talk about the future,” the young defender explained to Gazzetta di Parma.
“We are almost there in terms of being safe and we have to go to Bologna and get ourselves a result.”
The Inter-owned defender recently scored his first professional goal and he then spoke on the feelings he felt after the ball had hit the back of the net.
“Scoring my first goal was a dream come true. In the beginning I did not realise it had went in, it was only after I heard the fans roar that I realised what had happened.”
