Inter Face Competition From PSG For Roma Star Dzeko

Inter face competition from French outfit Paris Saint Germain for the signature of Roma striker Edin Dzeko according to a report from France Football.

The Parisian’s see Dzeko as the ideal candidate to replace Edinson Cavani and the club’s sporting director Antero Henrique is understood to be a particularly big fan of the Bosnian veteran.

Contact between the current Ligue 1 champions and the 33-year-old’s representatives is already understood to be underway.

With his contract at Roma set to expire next season, the Giallorossi are reportedly open to selling him this Summer so to avoid losing him for nothing next Summer.

Dzeko has been with the Stadio Olimpico outfit since 2016 having arrived from Premier League club Manchester City and has scored 86 goals in 176 competitive appearances.

This season he has made 37 appearances across all competitions. In almost 3000 minutes on the park, Dzeko, who can also count Wolfsburg among his former clubs, he has scored 13 goals and notched 10 assists.
