Further change to the Inter management team is expected to occur in the coming months according to a report from Tuttosport.
Perhaps the biggest change will be the appointment of a figure who can act as a link between the team and the management team.
Inter have chosen Gabriele ‘Lele’ Oriali as the man they wish to fulfil this role.
With Inter seemingly set to bring in Antonio Conte as new manager, Oriali’s prospective appointment is made even better due to the relationship he holds with Conte, who he worked together with in the Italian national team.
The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to report that sporting director Piero Ausilio is also set to prolong his stay with the club by signing a contract extension until the end of the 2020/21 season.
Ausilio has been at Inter since 1998 and has served the club in his current role since 2014.
