Atletico Madrid are planning next season with Antoine Griezmann as part of their squad but in the event he leaves, the Spanish giants are all prepared according to a report from AS.
The French forward has alleged interest in his services from Barcelona but as of yet, no concrete offers have arrived for the 2018 World Cup champion, who Atletico wish to make their new vice-captain next season.
Should an offer arrive that they quite simply can not turn down, they could go after either Inter’s Mauro Icardi or Juventus’ Paulo Dybala to replace him, the report claims.
The report from the Spanish newspaper goes on to state that even if Griezmann is to stay at the Wanda Metropolitano, should Diego Costa depart the club, Los Colchoneros will also go after Icardi or Dybala to replace the Spanish forward instead.
This season Icardi has scored 16 goals whilst Dybala has scored 10 goals.
