Lukaku Tops Incoming Inter Manager Conte’s Summer Transfer Target Wishlist

Antonio Conte’s first choice transfer target for when he takes charge of Inter is Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Lukaku has long been linked with Inter and as per the report, there has already been contact between the Nerazzurri and the Belgian forward’s agent Federico Pastorello.

In two separate meetings with Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, where he discussed taking over as Inter manager, Conte stressed that Lukaku was at the top of his Summer wish list.

It will take Inter at least €70-80 million to sign Lukaku from Manchester United therefore meaning Mauro Icardi’s rumoured sale could completely fund or go a long way toward funding the move for Lukaku.

The report goes on to state that Inter are prepared to offer Lukaku a five year contract with an annual salary of €7.5 million.

This season the 26-year-old has netted 15 goals in 45 appearances for the Premier League outfit, who he has played for since mid-2017.
