Antonio Conte will be officially announced as the new manager of Inter during this week according to a report from Sky Sport.
The former manager of the Italian national team has agreed terms with Inter over a three year contract worth €12 million a season to succeed Luciano Spalletti on the Inter bench.
The report goes on to state that Conte, who has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last Summer, will probably be announced on Wednesday but it all depends on how Inter management’s meeting with Spalletti regarding his exit from the club goes.
In the coming weeks, Conte will also travel to China to visit Inter owners Suning’s headquarters in order to meet everyone, including Inter owner Jindong Zhang.
The Italian broadcaster also reveal that Conte will travel with Inter’s management to Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano stadium this weekend to take in the Champions League final between Premier League sides Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
