Juventus, Roma & Napoli All Want Inter Outcast Icardi

Mauro Icardi is attracting interest from all of Serie A’s top clubs with Juventus, Napoli and Roma all sniffing around the Argentine.

Inter have no intention of keeping Icardi at the club beyond this summer and new head coach Antonio Conte will reiterate this message to the player should they meet during preseason training.

Corriere dello Sport today reported Icardi and wife and agent Wanda Nara are only interested in Juventus, should they be forced to leave San Siro.

“They’ll never confirm it publicly but the Bianconeri are the only club they would consider moving to,” they said.

“Inter have already laid down their conditions, though: they’ll only consider it if they can have Paulo Dybala in return, otherwise the door to Juventus is locked.”

Napoli would represent a more favourable option for Inter considering the Partenopei have several players they are interested in, such as Piotr Zielinski, Fabian Ruiz, Allan and Arkadiusz Milik.

Aurelio Di Laurentiis considers all four players to be ‘unsellable’ though and would have to change his mind for negotiations to pick up.

Roma cannot realistically sign Icardi because his wages are simply too high.
