Could Inter Striker Mauro Icardi Join Juventus, Napoli, Roma Or Atletico Madrid?

Turin based newspaper Tuttosport have analysed the four main teams that have come into links with Inter striker Mauro Icardi.

Starting with Juventus, a swap deal that would see Paulo Dybala come to Inter has long been rumoured and Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta would do this if he could.

This is however difficult to achieve given Juventus do not wish to give up Dybala while the player himself is hesitant about a move to the Nerazzurri.

Moving onto Napoli, their president and owner Aurelio De Laurentiis is a long term admirer of the 26-year-old Argentine. Icardi’s bumper salary however could prove to be a stumbling block for the Azzurri and it is hard to say whether Icardi would entertain a move down south.

Roma have also shown an interest in signing him. The Giallorossi are not in the Champions League and are looking to bring down their wage bill thus meaning a move for Icardi does not exactly fit in with their ambitions.

Finally, there is Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone’s side are on the lookout for one or two strikers and are considering the Argentine. Icardi has always imagined a future in Madrid but rather than with Atletico, he dreams of playing for Real Madrid.
