Inter’s Private Training Camp In Lugano Cost Club €400,000

Inter spent €400,000 to arrange the club’s private preseason training camp in Lugano, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri’s decision not to open training to the public has annoyed some supporters, whose only chance to see the team will come in the friendly against the Swiss club on 14 July.

The club officially cited security reasons for staging everything behind closed doors but the paper reported Conte wanted to avoid all distractions for his players.

Inter will spend seven days in Lugano before jetting off to Asia for this summer’s International Champions Cup.

In addition to the €400,000 spent on the training camp the club are also embroiled in a legal dispute with organisers at Riscone di Brunico, where Inter held last summer’s training.

The Nerazzurri are accused of leaving the property earlier than expected, therefore breaching the terms of the agreement they reached with the company.

Should they lose that dispute they would likely need to pay compensation.
