Antonio Conte Wants Inter To Sign Alessandro Florenzi From Roma

Antonio Conte is pressing Inter’s management to get a deal done for Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi according to a report from Corriere della Sera.

Conte is a big fan of Florenzi and his talents having worked previously with him during his stint in charge of the Italian national team.

Inter could be ready to offer a sum of €25 million plus €10 million in bonuses for the Italian international, who has spent almost his entire career on the books of the Giallorossi.

Alternatively, the report goes on, Inter could look to offload flop Dalbert and use him as part of a deal to try and bring 28-year-old Florenzi into the Nerazzurri, where he would almost certainly be the starter at right wing back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system.

This past season Florenzi, who is contracted to the capital city club until 2023, made 38 appearances across all competitions. In 2891 minutes, he managed to score three goals and he tallied just as many assists.
