Mauro Icardi Would Be Happy To Leave Inter & Sign For Juventus

Mauro Icardi would waste no time in accepting an offer to leave Inter and join arch rivals Juventus, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Inter have not received any offers for their former captain so far and are concerned they will have to welcome him back for preseason training in two weeks.

Juventus remain the club most interested in Maurito but cannot step up their pursuit until they have found a buyer for Gonzalo Higuain.

Beppe Marotta wants to set up a swap deal with the Bianconeri involving Paulo Dybala, but Juve are reluctant to consider such an idea.

Inter could make a move for Juan Cuadrado if Dybala remains unobtainable, with Antonio Conte known to be an admirer of the Colombian.

Reaching an agreement on the 31-year-old’s valuation would likely represent a stumbling block for Inter and Juventus, though, regardless of Icardi’s inclusion in the deal.

Conte will start preseason on 7 July and it looks increasingly likely Icardi will still be at the club then.
