Stefano Sensi was thanked for his services by Sassuolo on Tuesday after completing a move to Inter.
The midfielder officially joined the Nerazzurri on loan with an option to buy but Inter have all but assured they will sign him permanently next summer.
Sassuolo announced the deal on their Twitter account, having received two goals and four assists from Sensi in Serie A last year.
“Good luck, Stefano!” the Neroverdi said.
“We’re honoured to have shared part of our history with you.”
