Gazzetta dello Sport have documented Nicolo Barella’s strong desire to make himself available to Inter manager Antonio Conte having finally completed his move to the club.
The Italian international yesterday completed the move from Cagliari and has put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri.
Immediately after signing the contract, he made his way to Inter’s pre-season training camp in Lugano, Switzerland and met Conte, who he had already spoken with several times on the phone. He also met his new teammates.
The 22-year-old is hoping that he can travel with the rest of the team for the Asian tour on Tuesday but that is of course dependant on documentation going through. If it does not go through by then, it should be through by the following day to allow him to then travel.
The report from the Milan based newspaper concludes that Conte has clear ideas when it comes to how he wishes to utilise Barella in his system.
