Inter Will Only Make Man Utd Fresh Offer For Lukaku If They Sell Icardi Or Perisic

Inter will only consider making Manchester United another offer for Romelu Lukaku if they sell Mauro Icardi or Ivan Perisic, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri have virtually no wiggle room left for the Belgian as Manchester United still want €83 million.

Perisic has interest from Monaco but the paper did not provide any details on how serious it was, or how much the French club could offer.

United would need to find a replacement if Lukaku left and they only have until 8 August before the Premier League transfer window shuts.

Lukaku recently told reporters they would find out more about his future last week, but nothing happened in the end except Inter halting their interest.

Antonio Conte hopes Inter can complete a deal to sign Edin Dzeko when he returns from their preseason tour in Asia, although Roma want €20 million for now.

The Giallorossi will not receive any other players as part of a deal whenever it is concluded, despite reports elsewhere naming Danilo D’Ambrosio and Alessandro Florenzi as possible makeweights.

Conte’s attention is currently fixed on Lille forward Rafael Leao, whom Inter have put forward as a possible alternative to Lukaku.

Leao has received excellent reports from the club’s scouts but is an unknown quantity due to his age (20).

Lille have confirmed they will sell but want €35-40 million for Portuguese under-21 international. Inter are reflecting on the asking price at present.
