Libero insist that Inter must add two strikers to their ranks before the transfer window closes in little under a month’s time.
The Milanese news outlet are not convinced in the slightest by Inter’s current options up top aside from Lautaro Martinez.
“Esposito is lightweight, Perisic is being played out of position, Politano is not in the right physical condition and Puscas is impalpable: in short, the Inter attack still does not exist,” the report begins.
“It is no longer a question of time, now: the important thing is that two strikers arrive by September 2nd. Conte is doing great, but don’t ask him to do the same during the season.”
Inter have drawn links to plenty strikers in recent weeks but have struggled to get deals done for players. Romelu Lukaku is Inter’s number one transfer target but Manchester United’s demands have made things difficult for Inter.
Roma’s Edin Dzeko has also been linked and Inter are adamant that they do not wish to give in to the Giallorossi’s €20 million demands given Dzeko is 33 and has just a year left on his contract.
