Arturo Vidal would be more than happy to make a return to Serie A this summer by joining Inter, according to Tuttosport.
Barcelona have made it known they will consider offers for the Chilean international, who scored three goals in a mixed debut campaign last year.
Inter are hoping to launch an offensive in the final few days of the transfer window and secure another high-profile midfielder for Antonio Conte.
“Vidal would be the aggressive attacking player Inter are missing and help increase the Nerazzurri’s midfield firepower,” the paper reported this morning.
“Let’s not forget Stefano Sensi was signed at first to be an understudy for Marcelo Brozovic, so Inter have always had the idea of signing a player with international experience as well.”
Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have not made any formal approaches for Vidal yet as the pair currently have more pressing priorities.
Vidal spent three years working under Conte at Juventus and transformed himself into a world-class midfielder, before signing for Bayern Munich in 2015.
