Mauro Icardi’s Entourage Submit Formal Request For Striker To Resume Full Inter Training

Mauro Icardi’s entourage have submitted a formal request to Inter to let their client resume full training with the first team, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The striker’s representatives consulted a legal adviser and asked for a letter to be drafted on behalf of the Nerazzurri’s former captain.

Icardi took part in Antonio Conte’s physical drills at Appiano Gentile yesterday, before working on a personalised program during Inter’s tactical exercises.

It appears nothing has changed since the letter was sent, albeit the paper did not specify when exactly Inter received it.

Icardi has postponed any decision regarding his future until the start of next week, although he has now accepted he must leave Inter for the good of his career.

CdS suggested the delay tactics from the striker were an attempt to help Juventus, who must sell some of their own players before making a proper move.

Napoli and Roma are being consistently linked with the 26-year-old, who missed every preseason friendly under Conte this summer.

Neither club appear to be making any progress in changing Maurito’s mind, however, with the Italian champions still his preferred destination.
