Inter Reassure Alexis Sanchez’s Agent After Man Utd Demand Paid Loan

Inter reassured Alexis Sanchez’s agent last night that they remain determined to sign the forward from Manchester United, according to FcInterNews.it.

Talks have slowed this week after the Red Devils decided to renege on the agreements they had previously reached with the Nerazzurri.

United now want Inter to pay €1.5-2 million for Sanchez’s initial loan deal, whereas beforehand it was supposed to be free.

They would also like Inter to contribute more than €4 million plus bonuses towards the player’s €12 million net annual salary.

Inter now face the prospect of having to spend €3-4 million more if they wish to bring Sanchez to San Siro, but this is unlikely to jeopardise the transfer.

The club remain optimistic of securing the Chilean’s services and will get back in touch with his agent Fernando Felicevich in the coming hours.

Inter have experience of Ed Woodward’s tough negotiating strategies from their never-ending negotiations over Romelu Lukaku.

United’s executive vice-chairman does not like selling his players on the cheap and has put the brakes on a deal just when it seemed certain to go through.
