Paris Saint Germain have just announced the signing of striker Mauro Icardi from Inter on a season long loan deal with an option to buy.
The 26-year-old Argentine underwent his medical with the French giants earlier today and the Parc des Princes outfit have announced the capture of Icardi on their club website and social media channels.
The Ligue 1 side have an option to make the transfer permanent set at €70 million, as per respected Sky Sport journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.
A prerequisite for Inter to send Mauro Icardi on loan to PSG was that the striker would agree to extend his current deal with the Nerazzurri by one year, which he has done, and which is set to expire at the end of June 2022.
Mauro Icardi joined Inter ahead of the 2013/2014 Serie A season from Sampdoria for a reported fee of €13 million and has since then featured 219 times across all competitions scoring 124 goals in the process.
