Everson Pereira Da Silva, the agent of Dalbert, has revealed that his client wants to have a good season on loan at Fiorentina from Inter and that the player was surprised to be a victim of racist abuse.
“He is very concentrated and the only thing he wants is to have a good season with Fiorentina. When it comes to racism, if a person is not prepared for it, then they can suffer but I do not think that this is the case with him,” he explained in an interview with Fiorentina.it.
“He was a bit surprised by what happened but he continued to play and showed that he was focused only on the match and for this reason he was able to put in a good performance.”
He proceeded to discuss his client’s Summer switch to the Viola on loan from the Nerazzurri.
“I think this summer was the right time for him to change team. The Fiorentina project seemed the most interesting and he has played well in his first few games. I think Fiorentina are happy with his performances too but we know that he will still improve yet because he had only had a little time getting to know his new teammates.”
He concluded by discussing the differences between the two clubs.
“Fiorentina wanted to avoid a repeat of last season and I think the goals that the two clubs have in mind are very different. At Inter he felt a lot of pressure. “
