Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa’s agent Wagner Ribeiro has confirmed that he knows nothing about the alleged negotiations that have seemingly happened between Inter and Schalke.
A report in the Italian media today said that Inter and the Bundesliga outfit were at an advanced stage in talks over the 23-year-old Brazilian striker with Schalke willing to meet Inter’s €30 million evaluation of him.
Speaking off the record to ESPN Brazil, Ribeiro confirmed he knew nothing but at the same time refused to rule out anything from happening.
Gabigol has spent the past 10 months out on loan at Flamengo where he has been in simply sensational form, form that has led to him getting back into the Brazilian national team.
Flamengo are also seemingly keen to try and keep a hold of Gabigol, who joined Inter from Santos back in 2016 in a €30 million deal.
Other reports in the media as of late have linked Gabigol to several other clubs such as Crystal Palace.
