Inter have confirmed that Stefano Sensi has suffered a muscle injury in training in the lead up to Sunday’s Serie A match away to Sassuolo.
The 24-year-old had only just recovered from an injury he sustained in the last match before the international break and is now set for another spell out of action after tests conducted by Inter’s medical staff today revealed a “strain to the psoas muscle.”
A report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia states that the Italian will miss Sunday’s clash with his former employers as well as next week’s Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund and in all probability the match after that against Parma.
