Noted Journalist Ivan Zazzaroni: “I Would Exclude The Arrival Of Ibrahimovic At Inter”

Director of Rome based newspaper Corriere Dello Sport Ivan Zazzaroni spoke to Italian radio station Radio Deejay today, discussing the possibility of seeing 38-year-old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic return to his former club, Inter.

“Inter have Sanchez who must recover. Conte wanted a man of his size. So, I’d exclude him in part, not entirely: it’s a hypothesis.”

Inter are looking for reinforcements in the attacking department following a three-month injury to former Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez, who was suffered an ankle injury after a strong challenge from Juventus’ Juan Cuadrado whilst on international duty last week.

The 38-year-old Ibrahimovic, currently playing for MLS side LA Galaxy, will be a free agent at the end of the year following his contract expiry with the club. The player has indicated that he is not ready to retire just yet, with fans already calling for him to return to the Nerazzurri, where he spent three seasons and won three league titles.
