Inter Manager Conte Expecting Reaction From Team Against Borussia Dortmund Tomorrow Night

Inter manager Antonio Conte is expecting an immediate reaction from his team in tomorrow night’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.

Conte was angry with the team post-match, despite the fact they won 4-3, due to the fact they very nearly threw away the 4-1 lead they had with about 20 minutes to go in the match at the MAPEI Stadium, and told them in no uncertain terms that it was unacceptable that the performance levels dropped off as they did.

One thing that has become apparent in recent weeks is how Inter struggle when the other team deploys a trequartista with Sassuolo’s Filip Duricic the most recent to cause Inter problems whilst playing in that position after Rodrigo Bentancur and Arturo Vidal also caused problems for Inter.

Marco Reus has been playing as Borussia Dortmund’s trequartista and has scored five goals when playing in that position this term but Inter need not worry about him due to the fact he has not travelled with the Bundesliga club due to injury.
