Inter Midfielder Brozovic: “We’re A Strong Team, We Want To Win Against Borussia Dortmund”

Marcelo Brozovic has spoken on the personal growth he has experienced recently as part of the pre-match press conference ahead of Inter’s match in the Champions League with Borussia Dortmund.

“Certainly, after 3/4 years of being here, so many experienced players have arrived, we are a strong team. We must demonstrate this and work hard, tomorrow we have an important match: we play at home and we want to win.

He was then asked if he needs to change his play style because of Stefano Sensi’s absence.

“It doesn’t change, I have to do my own thing. I want to help my teammates, but certainly Sensi is an important player and without him it is a bit more difficult to play but you have to be able to play without him.”

He was then asked about how much his situation has changed at the club recently with him now one of the more central figures.

“Three or four years ago I was younger, so many things have changed since then. I have become a father and now I see things differently. Then I also worked alone when I was not well. Now we are here, I have worked a lot and the manager was clear about the things he wants from me: I am always available to him.

“I think I still have to improve defensively I have to be even more careful as the coach tells me. I have to act as a screen, I can do more from this point of view. Maybe I lose some banal balls so I have to be more concentrated but I am calm, I like to play the ball and help my teammates.”
