In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Antonio Conte has looked ahead to Inter’s Champions League match with Borussia Dortmund tomorrow.
“We will have to be very careful not to give up the ball stupidly as they are good on the counter and have many fast players. We will have to be very concentrated and take advantage of what happened on Sunday when we suffered three goals off of three errors,” he said.
“I think that, without going too far back, the important thing is that we carry the first 70 minutes of the Sassuolo match with us. We talked too much about how the game ended, but we left out the important things done before that: we must bring this awareness.”
He concluded by speaking on the difficulty of trying to improve things when faced with a packed schedule.
“The fact we have not had much time to work with the players complicates things. We have seven games in 21 days. Before the match with Sassuolo we had a chance to work with the attackers by improving their harmonisation and their movements..
