Inter have announced they have reached an agreement with La Molisana to become the club’s official pasta sponsor for the next two years.
“The partnership underlines the importance of sport for the historic pasta brand, not least because of the values with which sport is synonymous: hard work, sacrifice and a healthy lifestyle and diet,” a statement posted on the official club website begins.
Speaking on the partnership, La Molisana chief executive Giuseppe Ferro said: “We’ve agreed an important. We’re proud to be collaborating with a club that has gone down in the history of Italian and international football and is a great ambassador for sport in general, with fans all over the world.
“The partnership provides both parties with global exposure: we’re the fifth-largest producer of dried pasta in Italy, the joint market leader for wholewheat pasta and we export to 80 countries. La Molisana works hard to showcase the best produce this country has to offer both at home and around the world, by exporting products of the highest quality.”
The statement then goes on to continue: “According to the agreement, the La Molisana logo will be present on advertising hoardings around the pitch, in the stadium’s hospitality areas and on the Nerazzurri’s official website.
“La Molisana has created a “Pasta dell’Inter” range to mark the partnership. The pasta is made from 100% Italian wheat and will be available in retail outlets complete with special packaging in the club colours.”
