In an interview with Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, Inter linked Arturo Vidal has admitted to being unhappy with his present situation at Barcelona.
“At the moment I’m not happy, but I’m trying to turn the situation upside down and earn a place in the starting 11. I have worked hard, I’ve been a starter all my career and while it is not happening now, I am calm.
“I can’t find an explanation for this moment but there are different ways to look at it. I’m not happy with the situation but it’s up to the coaches, I just try to help out and train in the best way I can.
“I continue to work hard and I think about what concerns me. I like to concentrate on knowing that I have always been a starter, someone who has always obtained affection of his teammates and coaches and this has always given me confidence.
“When something like this happens, it’s hard. You must always give everything and I do give everything and will do so any time I will be given the chance to do so.”
He was also asked about current Inter manager Antonio Conte, who he played under whilst at Juventus.
“Thinking of Conte reminds me of many beautiful things I achieved with him. The leap in quality I made to be one of the best was with the help of Conte. The most important thing in football is trust, I am working hard to become an indispensable starter at Barcelona.”
