In an interview with Radio Sportiva, former Inter and Brescia striker Alessandro Altobelli reflected on last night’s mathc between his former employers, which Inter won 2-1.
“Brescia-Inter was a very hard watch for me, I was hoping that they would both score all their chances. The fairest result for the match would have been a draw,” he started.
“Inter dominated in the first half but created little. In the second half Brescia played better and shortened the gap between the sides.
“Last night Handanovic was good at maintaining the result but Inter’s defence in the last few games have conceded too many goals. The truth is that something is missing and the team is playing every 3/4 days.”
He concluded by praising Romelu Lukaku for his goalscoring form.
“Lukaku was signed to score goals and is doing his job very well. He scored a beautiful goal yesterday. Inter fans must understand that the Nerazzurri players must be the strongest and must be supported.”
