Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has shared his excitement about Inter’s in-form strike force Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
The Belgian and Argentine have started what looks to be a promising partnership in Antonio Conte’s attack with them each grabbing seven goals apiece at this stage of the season. Aside from scoring, the pair’s general understanding is good and appears to grow each time they play.
“In today’s football, we have attackers who want to make themselves available to the team and in this regard, Romelu Lukaku is doing very well, in addition to scoring goals. He has made a very positive start to the season,” he said during an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
“He has great margins for growth and I think he will give us great satisfaction. The same goes for Lautaro Martinez. He is growing from match to match, he is a real talent.”
