Inter defender Antonio Candreva joined Inter manager Antonio Conte on pre-match press conference duties at Signal Iduna Park ahead of Inter’s match away to Borussia Dortmund tomorrow in the Champions League.
The revitalised 32-year-old wing back was asked about the impact Conte has had on the team since he replaced Luciano Spalletti as manager over the Summer.
“This year is a different story compared to the past. The manager has made us take a leap in quality in training and in facing home and away matches, he is our guide. We must continue like this, we must follow him because he can take us far,” Candreva explained.
Candreva, who is now in his fourth season with the club having arrived in 2016 from fellow Serie A club Lazio, has made 12 appearances across all competitions this season.
In 804 minutes on the field, the Italian has contributed three goals and provided one assist for his Nerazzurri teammates.
