In a press release posted to the official Inter club website, the club have detailed Inter’s continued participating in the China International Import Expo.
“FC Internazionale Milano renews its participation in the China International Import Expo , starting in its second edition today in Shanghai. The important event sees Italy as one of the 15 guest countries of honor, each with a pavilion dedicated to showing the public of experts their own companies of excellence in various sectors, including the Club which stands out as the only football team,” it begins.
“CIIE is also an occasion for important institutional meetings: President Steven Zhang met today with Foreign Minister Luigi di Maio right inside the Italian pavilion, which also received a visit from the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. Furthermore, Steven Zhang attended the ceremony for the extension and further integration of the memorandum of understanding signed in Rome last March with the ICE agency (ITA – Italian Trade Agency), together with a delegation of the most important Chinese companies of the e -commerce.
“The Shanghai appointment renews Suning International’s commitment to supporting and promoting cultural and economic exchanges between Italy and China. Participation together with Inter in the most important Made in Italy events, such as the Salone del Mobile and Fashion Week, is a substantial part of Suning’s strategy for creating a platform of opportunities for Italian and Chinese companies.”
The release also includes comments from club president Steven Zhang.
“Inter is one of the most important Italian symbols: it represents Milan and Italy and involves millions of fans around the world. This is especially true in China, where we are among the most popular clubs. football is essential for creating a profitable cultural and commercial connection between our countries.”
The release concludes: “Scheduled appointments with the fans at the Italian pavilion and the presentation of the Inter Academy project in China, today with 5 projects in the area.”
