Inter Defender Godin: “We Were Not Able To Match Dortmund In The Second Half”

Inter centre back Diego Godin has shared his disappointment off the back of Inter’s 3-2 loss away to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

“We played a great first half. In the second half we tried to play with the same intensity, albeit without success: the ball travelled very fast, they were quick and we were not able to match them, physically nor mentally,” he said in an interview with Inter TV.

“It was a serious mistake [that I made for Dortmund’s second goal] and you are made to pay dearly for such mistakes against such a high quality team.”
