Alessandro Bastoni has shared his delight with the way Inter manager Antonio Conte has helped him progress and what the support he gives means to him.
“I want to thank all the Nerazzurri fans for the continuous support they give us,” he began an interview with Inter’s in-house channel Inter TV on the sidelines of a signing event with teammate Stefano Sensi.
“I am happy, because Antonio Conte is giving me great confidence: it is really nice to receive some words of praise from such a great manager.”
He added: “We are ready for the next run of fixtures. We will work match by match. My teammates are teaching me a lot, both on and off the field.”
The 20-year-old central defender has made six appearances across all competitions this season, five of which have come as a starter in Conte’s 3-5-2 system, for a total of 486 minutes on the park.
