Former Inter defender Massimo Paganin has shared his belief that Inter can fight for the Serie A title this season but is well aware of a major limitiation that could hinder the Nerazzurri’s chances of picking up some silverware.
“At the moment there are two out in front whilst the others are struggling to keep up. Juventus are the strongrst team and are the ones to beat. Inter have grown a lot and I think that they will contend for the title against Juventus until the end whilst other sides are already too far behind,” Paganin, who spent four years with Inter between 1993-1997 told Italian radio station Radio Bianconera.
“The limits of Inter and Juventus? Maybe the Champions League could distract them a bit. Inter, as Antonio Conte has pointed out, are also limited in terms of their squad depth, this can certainly be a limit on them in the long term.”
