A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has suggested that Torino should sign two of Inter’s players who are struggling for first team minutes this season, Borja Valero and Matteo Politano.
The report highlights how Valero has only played one minute for the Nerazzurri so far this season under coach Antonio Conte but could still be a useful player for Walter Mazzarri’s squad. The 34-year-old Spaniard’s contract expires with Inter next June, and therefore the Granata could make a January move for the player, likely to be cheap. His experience and passing could help the club compete for European qualification this season.
Furthermore, the report also suggests that Torino could look to sign 26-year-old Italian forward Matteo Politano. The former Sassuolo player has struggled for consistent playing time this season, having failed to play a full 90 minutes even once so far this season. Therefore, Torino could look to acquire the player, who they approached Inter for in the summer to no success.
