Inter Coach Antonio Conte Not Underestimating Torino & Understands The Importance Of Winning Tonight

Inter coach Antonio Conte understands the importance on tonight’s game against Torino and is hoping that the squad will still be strong despite missing multiple key players through injury, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 50-year-old Italian coach is hoping for a win tonight in order to keep up the pressure on the Bianconeri and hopefully rise to first place if the Turin based club fail to beat Atalanta this afternoon.

Conte discussed the difficulties of playing with a reduced squad in a press conference yesterday.

“We must continue to clench our teeth because we are still in an emergency and this must be a further stimulus to bring out more than the maximum. I would like to have the opportunity to choose and rest the players also because from now until Christmas we will have seven matches and in Champions League, we would like to pass the round.”

He also spoke highly of the Nerazzurri’s opponents tonight Torino and their coach, Walter Mazzarri.

‘I value them, and Torino are doing well. It will be a difficult match and we will have to think only of this, not of the Champions League, because now it is the most important one.”
