Inter defender Diego Godin celebrated the Nerazzurri’s vital 3-0 win over Torino on Saturday with a post on his Instagram page yesterday.
The 33-year-old Uruguayan defender played the full 90 minutes in Inter’s win in Turin, his 11th appearance of the season for the Nerazzurri.
He is slowly adapting to a three-man defence, a set up typical of coach Antonio Conte. Godin has spent the majority of his career playing in a four-man defence, meaning that it will take a little time before he is fully comfortable.
Godin posted a photo of some of the squad celebrating in the changing room after the game alongside the caption: “Three very important points in a game where we showed great personality! We are happy for the first minutes on the pitch for Borja and Fede!”
